Mission & Values
Pregnancy Support Group is a community, faith based, non-profit agency that provides peer counseling to families with new or unplanned pregnancies, pre-natal and parenting education from conception through the age of two and new cribs or car seats to qualifying participants. Parents who enroll in our program receive credit for the time they dedicate to parenting classes and may exchange their “mommy buck” credits for much needed baby and toddler supplies. There are no requirements for enrollment as we serve clients of all faith, creed, race, national origin, age, martial or economic status.
We are committed to sharing the love of Christ in the most practical and effective way we can by loving, praying, listening, and then doing.
Pregnancy Support Group serves over over 200 families annually who face unplanned pregnancies; some, even as young as 12 years old. In addition, approximately 33% are new clients and approximately 25% are dealing with significant crises related to their pregnancy. Due to our community resources and outreach, we are able to help reduce the stress related to their crises and help move them on to a more positive direction helping them make better choices for themselves and their babies.
We are committed to assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God’s people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope and then plan constructively for themselves and their babies.
